Don't I need sweat glands?
Although your body needs sweat glands to cool itself, your body contains 2-4 million sweat glands - only about 2% are found in your underarms. Eliminating this 2% does not affect your body's ability to cool itself. With miraDry, you experience the many benefits of reducing underarm sweat, but you will continue to sweat in other parts of your body.
How does it work?
miraDry uses thermal energy to create heat in the area where troublesome sweat glands are present and safely removes them permanently.
What results can I expect?
You can expect immediate and lasting results. Once the miraDry treatment has removed the sweat glands, they are gone forever. The treatment is clinically proven to lead to an average sweat reduction of 82%. As with all aesthetic treatments, results and experiences may vary from patient to patient.
How many treatments do I need?

Is there any pain or recovery time?
Most patients describe the procedure as painless with little or no downtime. Local anaesthesia is administered to the armpits prior to treatment for patient comfort. Most patients experience little to no downtime and resume normal activities (work, etc.) immediately. Physical activity is usually resumed within a few days. You may experience swelling, numbness, bruising and sensitivity in the armpit area for a few days after treatment.

Are there any side effects?
